How a Marriage is Restored After Porn Addiction

Bob & Dannah Gresh, Happily Even After book

I've heard so many people say that they thought their addiction to pornography would end once they were married. I've also heard those same people say it made no difference in their porn obsession after marriage.

Most of us would admit that pornography is not a healthy thing. However, statistics show that porn use among men, women, boys, and girls is increasing. Ironically, our society seems to be more accepting of sexual immorality and appears to be falling apart. Maybe it's not coincidental--maybe there is a clear connection to pornography destroying lives, marriages, families, and our society as a whole.

I recently spoke with Bob & Dannah Gresh about Dannah's new book, Happily Even After. Bob and Dannah spoke at length about how, in the midst of their ministries, Bob admitted to years of porn addiction. He stepped down from ministry leadership to heal himself and heal his marriage.

After a short time, Dannah realized she had a decision to make. She could continue expressing her anger to Bob, or she could help him to heal. She chose the latter, which quite possibly saved their marriage. Through the months after, she shares her experiences and how their marriage survived.

Be sure to listen to or watch my interview with Bob and Dannah Gresh!
